Volvo Cars officially launches the Volvo EX30 for the first time in Thailand at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show

Volvo Cars Thailand invites everyone to embark on a journey into the future of mobility as it leads the transformation to electrification with safety and sustainability at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024. Experience the new generation of premium electric vehicles with the Iconic Scandinavian design — ultimate comfort and cutting-edge safety technology that aims to make your life safer, more convenient, and more enjoyable. This year Volvo Cars prepares a special offer at the event by inviting you to be among the first in Thailand to test drive the Volvo EX30 from March 27 – April 7, 2024. Volvo Cars Thailand brings premium vehicles in both the electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid vehicle to display at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show include:

  • Volvo EX30, the new electric SUV that has the lowest carbon footprint ever of Volvo. It comes with a cutting-edge safety technology and a choice of driving power, both single motor and dual motor.
  • Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric, a crossover coupe electric car with a sleek and eye-catching design appearance. It comes with a choice of driving power, both single motor and dual motor.
  • Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, the electric sport utility vehicle that comes with the unique design of Volvo SUV.

In addition, the latest generation of Volvo’s Plug-in Hybrid models including the Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid, XC90 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid, S60 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid, S90 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid and V60 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid are also exhibiting at the event.

In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability, Volvo Cars Thailand has integrated recycled and renewable materials into both the structure and decoration of the booth. This includes certain part of booth walls which made from Recycled LDPE — the same type that can make stretchable bags for approximately 14,784 bags or equivalent to 73.92 kilograms. The booth ceiling is adorned with fabric made from over 60 kilograms of recycled material, which has not been bleached, dyed, or printed, thereby reducing water, energy, and CO2 gas emissions. The Volvo Ladies’ apparel showcases at the booth are crafted entirely from recycled denim, pleated together without scraps to minimize waste, and ensure reusability. Additionally, food and beverage containers for the guests visiting the booth are made from 100% biodegradable materials.
