Isuzu Elf EV

At the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024, Isuzu highlighted carbon neutrality by showcasing a wide range of vehicles and making its debut with the commercial electric truck “Isuzu Elf EV.”

Under the idea of “Isuzu Modular Architecture and Component Standard: I-MACS,” which enables effective customization of medium- and large-sized trucks, the electric truck known as the “Isuzu Elf EV” was developed. Additionally, it has the “Center Drive System EV,” which is specifically made for electric trucks.

Due to the need to consider the balance of vehicle weight distribution, the rear wheelbase, and an appropriate turning radius, it is suitable for light-duty hauling and short-distance runs, relying on agility. It uses the same platform as the diesel engine truck, which was first launched in Japan in March 2023. At the same time, we are developing a Battery Swapping System technology that allows quick battery exchanges to reduce the downtime for charging. Moreover, you can choose from 2 to 5 battery packs to match the transportation distance.
