It is equipped with legendary 1,300CC 2-Cylinder in-line Boxer engine of the GS family, redesigned to be more compact than ever before, delivering a maximum power of 107 kilowatts (145Horsepower) at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is the most powerful Boxer engine that BMW Motorrad has ever produced.

The core of the new suspension system is made from steel plate. In addition to efficiency improvement in terms of installation position, it also provides greater responsiveness compared to previous models. The rear frame is cast aluminum instead of the traditional dual-layer steel frame. BMW R 1300 GS comes with a new EVO Telelever front suspension system, while the rear suspension system is equipped with a newly modified EVO Paralever system, providing sharper cornering and enhanced stability for superior handling.

BMW R 1300 GS also comes with a new Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA), which adjusts the dampness of the front and rear suspension to the compression rate of the springs. It works in accordance with the selected riding mode, road conditions, and riding style. The Adaptive Vehicle Height Control System helps adjust the height of the motorcycle automatically according to the operating conditions at that time, guaranteeing maximum comfort and a joyful ride.

For off-road adventurers, the new “Enduro” riding mode is available for you. This riding mode provides an unrivaled riding experience during adventure on specific off-road trails. The “Rain” and “Road” riding modes are optimized for riding on a variety of road conditions, while the “Eco” riding mode provides energy-efficient and fuel-efficient riding for maximum distance.

BMW R 1300 GS comes with compact Full-LED headlights, featuring a new distinctive design that meets modern standards. It incorporates two LED lights for low and high beams. Moreover, four additional LED lights for daytime running lights and cornering lights are also equipped to provide enhanced visibility in all riding conditions. The Headlight Pro feature also helps adjust the beam of light from the LED headlights according to cornering. The newly designed LED turn signals are installed on the handlebar guards with complete functions, perfecting the advanced lighting system of the new BMW R 1300 GS.

In addition, the new BMW R 1300 GS is packed with new advanced riding assistance systems, including Active Cruise Control (ACC), Front Collision Warning (FCW), and Lane Change Warning (SWW). The Active Cruise Control (ACC) comes with an automatic distance control system, allowing the rider to set the speed and distance from the car in front as desired. The Front Collision Warning (FCW) comes with a braking system designed to prevent collisions and help reduce the severity of accidents. The Lane Change Warning (SWW) helps detect obstacles in the left and right lanes, and when used in conjunction with rearview mirrors, it enhances safety while changing lanes.
