The new BMW CE 02, an electric automobile from BMW Motorrad, is specifically designed under the “eParkourer” concept for city living. (Parkour is a type of sport that focuses on climbing over obstacles with speed). The model provides agility, power, and joy in everyday riding. BMW Motorrad offers a fresh experience in electric mobility via this model.

BMW CE 02 is designed to meet the needs of city riding. This is an electric automobile that is different from an electric motorcycle or electric scooter. It provides flexibility, comfort, durability and fun riding. The design reflects freedom and fun, which can be seen from the skateboard-shaped seat. The main color of the model is black, including the frame, wheels, front fender, and bridge fork. And the engine cover is decorated with Granite Grey Metallic Matt color. This combination provides a beautiful contrast between the matte and glossy surfaces.

The new BMW CE 02 is powered by a synchronous electric motor and two 1.96-kilowatt-hour 48-volt lithium-ion batteries, generating a maximum power of 11 kilowatts (15 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 55 Newton meters. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds, reach a top speed of 95 kilometers per hour. The model can run up to 95 kilometers on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in 210 minutes and from 20% to 80% in 102 minutes via a quick charging cable with a power output of up to 1,500 watts that is included as standard equipment. The batteries can be removed during maintenance service. The new BMW CE 02 also comes with two riding modes: “Flow” and “Surf” modes. The “Flow” mode is suitable for riding through heavy traffic in the city. Meanwhile, “Surf” mode offers a fun and exciting riding experience when out of busy traffic. 

The new BMW CE 02 is features with a twist-resistant double-layer steel frame, telescopic suspension on the front wheel, a single swingarm and pivoted suspension on the rear wheel, and wide front tire wrap around disc wheel lightweight alloy. Disc brakes are installed on both the front and rear wheels to increase confidence while decelerating. ABS braking system by BMW Motorrad are also installed on the front wheel provides a superior level of safety.

The control panel of the BMW CE 02 comes with a TFT color display that provides sharp images. It displays information necessary for riding, such as riding speed and battery charge status. The USB-C charging port makes it quick and easy to charge your smartphone. Additionally, the BMW Motorrad Connected application also estimates the remaining charging time on the smartphone through Bluetooth connectivity.
