The new interior cabin design is inspired by the recently launched model — Kia EV9. It is a large SUV with a spacious interior which similar to a living room in a home in term of both concept and functionality. This is more than a traditional car cabin.
The Kia EV5 is available in Thailand four in 4 variants: The Kia EV5 Light, The Kia EV5 Air, The Kia EV5 Earth Long Range, and The Kia EV5 Earth Exclusive AWD. It comes with a variety of electric power system options. The first two variants, The Kia EV5 Light and The Kia EV5 Air, are equipped with a 64.2kWh battery using a 160kW electric motor to drive the front wheels, delivering a maximum motor power of 217Horsepower and a maximum torque of 310Newton-meter. Both the Light and Air variants offer an NEDC electric range of up to 490kilometers per charge. It can accelerate to 100km/h within 8.5seconds. Both are also equipped with 18inch alloy wheels.
The Kia EV5 Earth Long Range is equipped with a 88.1kWh battery using a 160kW electric motor which is similar to the first two variants but offers an NEDC electric range of up to 665kilometers per charge.
The Kia EV5 Earth Exclusive AWD, the top variant, is equipped with a 88.1kWh battery and two electric motors, delivering a maximum motor power of 308Horsepower or 230Kilowatts and a maximum torque of 480Newton-meter. It can accelerate to 100km/h within 6.1seconds. This variant offers an NEDC electric range of up to 620kilometers per charge.
