The Hilux REVO GR Sport 4×4 has been developed with adjustments to height and width to enhance the ability to cross over obstacles on off-road. It also increases stability when driving on normal roads. The engine has also been enhanced to increase driving pleasure and responsiveness. In terms of design, it combines inspiration from rally racing with a sporty exterior and interior design based on the Gazoo Racing concept, together with emphasizing aerodynamic balance.

The exterior design of the Hilux REVO GR Sport 4×4 is inspired by the DAKAR Rally, featuring new designs on both the front and rear. The body has been widened and raised, with a more aggressive front that includes a 20-millimeter increase in the approach angle, allowing for better performance in off-road conditions.

The interior design has been upgraded to give a more premium feeling, featuring an all-black theme throughout the cabin. The seats are upholstered in suede material, providing better support for the driver. The design is aligned with the performance of a racing car. The black tone inside is trimmed with Mark sensor and red seat belt. It is also packed with convenient accessories such as a 10.25-inch central console display, Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto and a wireless phone charging stand.

The Engine performance of this new Hilux REVO GR Sport 4×4 also comes with an upgraded to 2.8-liter GD Super Power engine, delivering a 10% increase in power with a maximum power of 224 horsepower (165 kilowatts) and 550 newton-meters of torque. The gearbox has been enhanced for quicker responsiveness, aligning well with the engine’s capabilities. It also features a dedicated sport mode tuned specifically for this model.

The suspension system has been upgraded with increasing wide tread by 140 millimeters at the front and 155 millimeters at the rear, improving road grip. The ground clearance has been increased by 37 millimeters, allowing for better off-road capabilities. In addition, there have been enhancements to the front Monotube shock absorber system, along with coil spring tuning adjustments, and the rear shock absorbers have been upgraded with softer dampening. The rear brakes have been upgraded from drum brakes to disc brakes, decorated with red-colored calipers to enhance the sporty appearance of the vehicle. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels paired with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires size 265/65R17.
