“Grand Prix” invests 300 million Baht to craft a world class Motor Show The 45th “Bangkok International Motor Show”
“Grand Prix International Public Company Limited” or GPI announces an investment amount of more than 300 million THB (approximately 8.3 million USD) to host “The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024” covering 76,000 square meters of the exhibition space, which will be held from 27th March 2024 to 7th April 2024.
Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Chief Operating Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited or GPI revealed an update of this year’s show, “The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 is organized under the theme concept of “The Mobility of Joyful Experiences”, which means “When the road of automotive technology and the road of life converge, the beauty of automobiles and challenging technology will reflect the creativity and innovation that fulfill happiness and joyful experience of every journey.”. In addition, The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show is ready to support eco-friendly technology as well.
With the latest update, 47 brands of car and motorcycle companies (35 automotive brands and 12 motorcycle brands) have confirmed their participation, in which 100% of exhibition space are fully booked. This truly reflects the confidence each and individual automotive company has toward the Organizer and shows the confidence in the growth of automotive industry in Thailand.
Meanwhile, there are many new EV brands joining The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 for the first time such as, AION, CHANGAN, NETA, HONRI, POCCO, NEXPOINT, FIREBRIGHT and VINFAST from Vietnam. Besides the cars, several new electric motorcycle brands have confirmed their participation as well, such as RAPID, FELO, LYVA, ZEEHO, CF MOTO. This will definitely allow visitors of Bangkok International Motor Show to witness and experience various models of both electric car and electric motorcycle, and is dubbed a phenomenon that every exhibition space under the roof of Challenger Halls are fully booked by car and motorcycle companies. The steering Organizer of The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024, hence, decided to expand the exhibition space in response to the growth to IMPACT Forum Hall-4, which literally covering up to 76,000 square meters of exhibition space in total.
It was seen that during COVID outbreak, the global economy had been frozen. This caused investment in various businesses to decrease. Bangkok International Motor Show is the first automobile show in Thailand that firmly returned to its stand to stimulate the nation’s economy and industry after the end of the pandemic. As usual, this is another year that GPI has invested over 300 million Baht to make a word class Motor Show, which pay attention to facilitate the visitors through the provision of convenient gangway, sales negotiation area, and many more facilities. Moreover, the show has been receiving an exquisite support from all the brands in booth detailing ranging from world class booth design to eye catching decoration that captures the audience’s attention to visit their booth. Booth design of individual brand has been finely reviewed and approved by their respective overseas headquarter, and of course the budget required is quite high for the designing and construction, which literally revive the vibe of the show as lively as before.
The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 will be held at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani from 27th March 2024 to 7th April 2024. The show opens from 12.00 hrs. to 22.00 hrs. on weekdays and from 11.00 hrs. to 22.00 hrs. on weekends and public holidays. The price of admission ticket is 100 Baht. Every ticket purchase has a chance to win a lucky draw prize, which are LUMIN electric car and 4 motorcycles from HONDA, YAMAHA, KAWASAKI, and SUZUKI. And every booking of a car and a motorcycle made at the show will have a chance to win a lucky draw prize, which are MG4 DSK and ZEEHO AE6+ motorcycle.
GPI has managed the exhibition space to inclusively accommodate all interests in automotive matters. Inside Challenger Hall is fully packed with car and motorcycle brands covering all types of vehicles including ICE, EV, and CONCEPT CAR, along with the unveiling of new models from no less than 5 brands. Meanwhile, IMPACT Forum Hall-4 will be displaying supercars, hypercars, which is rare and there is only one in Thailand, classic cars, accessories zone, featuring auto accessories, and products for those love to go out for camping.
